Reservations

How do I change or cancel a reservation?

If you have booked a flexible rate, you may cancel your reservation up to 48 hours prior to your date of arrival. You may do so directly or through the reservation platform/agency with which you have booked. Please take into consideration that the date of arrival starts at 0.00 am (CET).

If you have booked a non-refundable rate, the reservation is charged immediately and thus rendered non-refundable or modifiable. You may cancel your booking, but not without incurring 100% of the penalty.

Payments

Do I have to provide my credit card details when making a reservation?

Whether you pay for your reservation directly or not, a credit card is required to secure your reservation. The hotel may need to temporarily pre-authorize your credit card to secure your reservation, after which you can choose to pay with another card or in cash. Regardless of your preferred method of payment, your credit card details are required during the booking process.

Arrival

At what time can I check in?

Our check-in starts at 2:00 p.m. If there are rooms available before this time, it may be possible to check in early depending on arrival time and availability, in which case we would be happy to oblige you. If you want to enjoy the day without a load with suitcases, you are more than welcome to leave your luggage at reception until your return or until your room is ready. Our reception is open 24 hours a day, so a reception agent will always be present.

Are pets allowed?

Regrettably, The Alfred Hotel does not allow pets.

Departure

Until what time can I check out?

Check-out time can be as early as you need it to be and as late as 11:00. Our reception runs 24 hours, and therefore if you needed to leave you luggage behind in order to enjoy the day before your flight, you may absolutely do so with the Front Desk.

Rates

What are the conditions of a flexible rate?

Your credit card details are required to guarantee your booking up to your arrival at the hotel. Payment will be made at the hotel. If you cannot take up your booking, you need to cancel no later than 48 hours prior to your date of arrival. Please take into account that the date of arrival starts at 0.00 am (CET.). Bookings not cancelled 2 days before arrival will be billed at 100% penalty. In case of a no-show, the total price of the booking will be charged.

*A different cancellation policy may apply for group bookings and/or long-term reservations (more than 5 days). The hotel will contact you if this is the case.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize your credit card for validity prior to arrival.
